CA Judge’s Final Decision Backs Constitution & Religious Liberty – NOT LGBT Agenda

in Advocates in Action, Blog 3 Comments

In February, we told you about an earlier ruling in favor of Bakersfield, CA bakery owner, Cathy Miller.

And now last week’s final ruling in California Superior Court upheld that Christian baker Cathy Miller’s right to freedom of conscience is more important than forcing her to bake a cake for a same-sex marriage!

In the State’s final appeal, Judge David Lamp ruled that, under the Constitution, the owner of Tastries Bakery in Bakersfield can refuse to make custom cakes for same-sex weddings.

In a remarkable statement, Judge David Lampe declared, “The right of freedom of thought guaranteed by the First Amendment includes the right to speak and the right to refrain from speaking. Sometimes the most profound protest is silence.”

Pro bono religious liberty law firms like Advocates for Faith & Freedom are working every day to fight these anti-religion cases and secure the freedoms of all Christians to live and work according to their God-given Biblical values and we need your support.

Please consider donating $10 or $20, or if you can, $100, $1,000 or more. Your generosity in allowing us to continue our Christian ministry and fight for you is greatly appreciated!

“When the enemy shall come in like a flood,
the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:19 (KJV)
