Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship
Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship has been attempting to get permits to expand on adjacent property. We have been working with the church for many years to help them get through land use entitlement process and have successfully navigated the political waters so far without having to file a lawsuit. We also successfully defended a claim by a vintner’s group claiming the church was not in compliance with its conditional use permit. We are now proceeding by seeking a general plan amendment and an amendment to the zoning ordinance to reverse a prohibition of new churches in the Temecula Wine Country. We are using RLUIPA to aid in this effort and hope a lawsuit is not necessary.
